Relief Cottage #2 Similar to cottage plan #1, this efficient plan at 352 square feet is one that can be very easily built off site and tailored to its final location. This plan is a direct response to the FEMA relief trailer as an alternative with hopes that this cottage will be a permanent start to a future homestead. This cottage incorporates an open living/dining plan with a cathedral ceiling, an alcove kitchen, a bunkroom that can accommodate two to four persons, and a full-bath with a tub shower unit. A front porch opens to main entry foyer, and a coat closet. Another feature of this plan is to utilize the back half of the gable roof as storage above the bedroom and bath. This plan can also accommodate some additional storage over the front porch gable roof.
